Role Overview

We are looking for a Major Event Ticketing Marketing Lead to drive the marketing strategy and execution for some of the most anticipated live sports events in the world.

In this role, you will combine Two Circles’ trademark data-driven approach with creative, audience-first marketing to grow demand, reach new fans, and deliver exceptional ticketing results for our partners. You will sit at the heart of a cross-functional Two Circles team, working closely with ticketing, data, consulting, and creative specialists to deliver record-breaking events.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Build and deliver the go-to-market strategy for major ticketed sports events, aligning closely with Ticketing Directors and Client Leads.
  • Use fan insights, segmentation and historical data to shape channel mix, pricing strategies, demand plans and sales pacing.
  • Develop integrated marketing plans across paid media, CRM, content, partnerships and organic channels, in line with client objectives and event brand positioning.

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Own full-funnel performance marketing across Meta, Google, programmatic and partner channels to drive sales efficiently.
  • Lead agile always-on and burst campaign execution with continuous testing, optimisation and creative iteration.
  • Oversee CRM planning and delivery across email, SMS and retargeting, ensuring fans are nurtured through personalised journeys toward purchase.
  • Work with the Creative Studio to brief, review and refine assets guided by insight and performance.

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as the marketing lead within the event leadership team, representing marketing performance, risks and opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with ticketing operations to manage inventory changes, ticket allocations, pricing updates and real-time demand shifts.
  • Align with rights-holders, venues, agencies, sponsors and media partners to amplify campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage relationships with platform partners and external suppliers ensuring smooth delivery and best-in-class performance.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own dashboards, reporting rhythms and sales pacing reviews for all marketing activity.
  • Provide proactive, insight-led recommendations to drive revenue and hit event targets.
  • Deliver post-event performance analyses to inform rights-holder strategy and future event planning.

Fan Experience & Brand

  • Ensure all fan-facing touchpoints - from ad creative to purchase flow - are frictionless, consistent and compelling.
  • Own the marketing messaging hierarchy and ensure content aligns with event brand identities and fan motivations.
  • Bring fresh creative thinking, storytelling and innovation to engage fans and grow event reach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in ticketing, live events, sport or entertainment.
  • Proven track record delivering performance-led marketing campaigns and revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical mindset with confidence interpreting data and making recommendations.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder leadership skills.
  • Experience with ticketing platforms (e.g., Secutix, Ticketmaster), CRM tools, and ad buying platforms is a plus.
  • Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving challenges with data, and is energised by live sport and major event moments.
