Maintenance Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the heart of our Grangemouth Manufacturing operations. In this role you'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring top-tier support that meets HSE compliance, plant availability, and development needs.
This role demands strong leadership and a commitment to maintaining excellence in plant operations while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.

• Oversee activities in line with site, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage HSE performance and compliance
• Management and development of the technician team
• Control maintenance costs and SAP data quality
• Deliver effective maintenance to meet manufacturing plans

• A minimum of HNC/HND qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering trade
• Relevant experience in the maintenance of process plant and equipment
• Extensive leadership experience with proven ability to develop high-performing teams
• Strong planning and organizational abilities
• SAP maintenance system expertise and knowledge of engineering HSE compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a focus on customer needs and performance management
• Ability to set ambitious strategic goals, prioritize tasks, and implement new ideas

Syngenta's Grangemouth Manufacturing Centre is one of our two award-winning manufacturing sites in the UK. The site was founded in 1919 and today employs nearly 400 skilled people in a variety of roles that include manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support. Our goal is to operate “safely, reliably and cost effectively” and to help growers protect their crops and increase their yield. 

At Syngenta Grangemouth we have four plants dedicated to active ingredient (AI) manufacture, and one finished product formulation and packaging plant with the most recent facility opening in May 2010.
