What You Can Look Forward To:
Energy Recovery, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate full-time job opening for the position of Maintenance Planner, with the Maintenance team in the San Leandro, California facility. This position is responsible of the execution of the proper management of maintenance plan. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for technical and root cause analysis for machine and technical issues. A suitable candidate will have prior experience in similar roles of reliability and maintainability of assets thru different operations.
What Will You Do?
Accurately defines and estimates required work requests and maintains a consistent tracking system for work orders.
Develops inspection and survey procedures to ensure an effective preventative maintenance system.
Works closely with technicians, engineers, operations, and managers to establish a schedule of proactive maintenance activities during appropriate downtime.
Utilizes planning and scheduling methods to ensure the most effective and least disruptive maintenance possible.
Typically uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking and planning maintenance.
Monitors spare parts inventory to ensure availability of required parts.
All other projects and duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table
2-3 years' experience in maintenance planning
Experience with maintenance Inspection
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational, time management, problem solving and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and deadlines concurrently.
Work Order Scheduling
Troubleshooting
Spare Parts Management
Safety Inspections
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Able to stand for extended durations of time
Must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments, under tight deadlines.
