Support production as a hands-on CNC Machinist by setting up and operating advanced CNC milling machines while maintaining high-quality standards and a safe work environment.
A well-established precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Machinist to support ongoing production needs. This role is ideal for a hands-on CNC professional who can work independently, interpret complex drawings, and produce high-quality parts with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC milling machines
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet tolerance and quality standards
Perform in-process inspections and basic quality checks
Make minor edits to CNC programs as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Contribute immediately to production with minimal training
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience operating 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC mills
Strong understanding of CNC G-code and the ability to make program adjustments
Experience with tooling identification, setup, and presetting
Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings
Solid knowledge of GD&T
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Experience
Background in precision machining or regulated manufacturing environments
Experience producing tight-tolerance components
Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced shop setting
