California Closets Nashville is a locally owned and operated business. In addition to our Cool Springs showroom, we have a full wood production facility in Nashville that houses our offices and shop where we have state-of-the art equipment such as a CNC routers and airTec edgebanders. Position details:

• Schedule: Full time, Monday- Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (30-minute lunch)
• Compensation: $18 - $22/hour depending on experience.
• Main duties: 
  • Run machine in manufacturing facility
    
  • Quality check all materials.
  • Ensure work area is organized, tidy, and clean.
  • Fill in other shop positions when necessary. 
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
• Position requirements include:
  
  • Ability to move at a fast pace with strong attention to detail

• • Quality-minded and dependable with good communication skills
  • Willingness to cross-train on various machine operations
  • Team-oriented attitude and reliable work ethic
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift materials weighing up to 70 lbs. on a consistent basis in a production environment.
• Uniform/PPE: Company provides eye protection and logoed shirts. Candidate must supply your own footwear and hearing protection.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Significant walking
• Willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening.
