Work as part of a team operating manual and automated machines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to safety and production specifications.
The Operator follows production and process specifications or instructions and monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, computer systems, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures, The Machine Operator tends manual, automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment and computers in a continuous production/processing operation.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
0-2 year’s previous experience.
Good ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems.
Good experience with or ability to learn multiple functions within the facility.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participative work system.
Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical aptitude and logical problem solving skills necessary.
Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.
Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.
Certification in hazardous materials training is a plus.
