As a ML Engineer Intern at FarmWise, you will design and implement deep-learning algorithms for plant detection and localization of our autonomous robot.
About the Work
- Design, implement and test state-of-the-art vision algorithms
- Oversee the entire model development cycle by working from prototyping to deployment
- Analyze data to turn terabytes of Ag data into actionable insights for farmers
- Build predictive models for farmers
- Develop and implement readable, maintainable and efficient production-ready code in Python
About You
- Strong background in mathematics, optimization, or probability
- Experience in computer vision or deep neural networks
- Ability to read, understand and implement research papers
- Proficient knowledge of Python and Deep Learning frameworks (Pytorch or Tensorflow)
- A good understanding of Git
- Experience with cloud computing services like AWS or GCP is a plus
- Experience implementing real-time algorithms on GPU/CPU is a plus
