As a machine learning engineer, you'll develop machine learning methods and work with software engineers and product managers to build them into our customer-facing product offerings. you will ensure our customers are successful and delighted throughout the customer lifecycle.
You will be also responsible to tailor product demonstrations that address business needs, overcome technical objections, and run high-quality, differentiated proofs of concept that establish the value of the RI platform for prospective customers, and drive onboarding, adoption, and expansion for signed customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art methods for robust machine learning
- Work with software engineers and product managers to build customer-facing software around our core machine-learning technology
- Build strong, meaningful relationships with our customers in Japan and proactively seek to understand their technical and business objectives
- Champion customer needs internally, advocating for them within Robust Intelligence and leveraging your customer knowledge to influence the product roadmap
- Coordinate across multiple Robust Intelligence teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support to advance adoption, expansion, and other Customer Success priorities
- Design high-quality, differentiated proofs of concept that establish the value of the Robust Intelligence platform
- Build bespoke machine learning validation solutions using the RI platform
- Work with customers to architect integrations with their existing machine-learning
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience with machine learning, ML operations, data science, or a related field
- Industry experience developing end-to-end production-grade machine learning systems
- Familiarity with advanced machine learning methods and strong algorithmic thinking
- Knowledge and experience of Python
- Experience with tooling and platforms in the ML ecosystem (Huggingface, MLFlow, Databricks, DataRobot, etc.)
- Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and understanding of how to tie technical problems to business impact
- Native level fluency in spoken and written Japanese; you will work on building NLP/GenAI models for Japanese texts
- Business fluency in spoken and written English
Preferred
- Knowledge of REST, Kubernetes, Docker, and Unix
- Familiarity with major public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and their ML products (AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI, etc.)
- Programming experience in Go
