About the role:
We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, optimize and productionize ML-based solutions to solve highly complex problems. You will primarily be working on pricing & incentives which is core to Hitch's growth and profitability. Our main focus is around how we can intelligently price rides and increase incentives for bookings with hundreds of inputs to drive growth and profitability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in applied Machine Learning, inclusive MS or PhD in relevant fields
- Experience deploying ML models into production
- Previously worked on ML based solutions for marketplace services is preferred
- Deep understanding of Machine Learning best practices
- Proficient in various programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, Scala, Python, or Go)
- Experience with modern machine learning algorithms (e.g., tree-based techniques, supervised, deep, or probabilistic learning)
- Experience with Machine Learning Software such as Tensorflow/PyTorch or Scikit-Learn
