Lighthouse Software Group is looking for a M&A Director to join our team in Europe. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals with 3–5 years of M&A experience looking to accelerate into a leadership position with direct deal ownership. You will lead end-to-end transactions, own relationships with founders and advisors, collaborate with our existing European portfolio managers, and help shape our expansion strategy across Europe.

Requirements

Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including sourcing, due diligence, negotiations, and closing acquisition opportunities in alignment with Valsoft’s growth strategy.
Build and manage a high-performing M&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Develop and maintain a robust acquisition pipeline, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Oversee post-acquisition integration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with Valsoft’s operational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to support due diligence, transaction structuring, and integration planning.
Drive operational performance and strategic initiatives across acquired businesses to maximize growth and profitability.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of acquired businesses, implementing improvement strategies as needed.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or corporate M&A.
A track record of managing end-to-end M&A transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Understanding post-acquisition integration and value creation is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
A results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying opportunities and driving growth.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
An undergraduate degree in finance, business or a related field.
