About the Role
As an M&A Business Development, you will support a critical element of our investment efforts by identifying and cultivating acquisition opportunities that align with our long-term investment strategy. This role collaborates closely with the M&A team on deal execution. You will play a key role in identifying leads for vertical market software businesses, developing/maintaining relationships with founders and investment bankers as they pursue an exit.
The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, is meticulously organized to ensure all relationships are maintained, financially literate with the ability to assess whether a software business is a strong strategic and financial fit at a high level.. This role requires creativity in developing sourcing strategies, comfort engaging with founders and intermediaries over long time horizons and a strong judgement in determining which opportunities merit deeper exploration.
