We're actively seeking reliable, full-time, permanent Driver! What we offer: Competitive hourly rate of pay offered. Competitive benefits - pension, health, dental, etc. Stable & growing company with long tenured employees Responsibilities: ·       Responsible for transporting medical waste from Brampton to Baltimore, Maryland 2-3 trips per week.  Each trip requires an overnight stay in the overnight cab of Tractor. ·       Competently performs pre-trips inspections with the intent of identifying and communicating minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor, and also completed daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile phone. ·       Ensuring materials are properly packaged and are in accordance with the packaging slip prior to trip. ·       Accurately records information on packaging slip and manifest, ensuring compliance with TDO Regulations. ·       Complies with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures.
  • 2 years long haul driving experience
  • Must have Class 1 (AZ) licence with air
  • No license restrictions****
  • Must be available to drive from Brampton to Baltimore, Maryland 2-3 trips per week.
  • FAST Pass an asset
  • Must have CVOR and Driver's Abstract (dated within last 30 days)
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, such as reference check, background check, pre-employment medical test and driver's road test or equivalent.
  • Ability and knowledge to safely load and properly block, brace and secure materials.
  • Ability to drive the vehicle safely in accordance with all traffic regulations
