In this role, you will take on a key responsibility in overseeing and facilitating the outbound logistics operations of HelloFresh and contribute to our ongoing efforts to drive business success and enhance customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do
- Oversee and Facilitate Outbound Operations: Coordinate and track the entire outbound logistics process, ensuring the successful, timely delivery of all customer orders.
- Drive Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the outbound team, customer care team, couriers, and 3PLs to ensure seamless operations and proactively inform customers of any delivery changes.
- Build and Maintain Strong Carrier Relationships: Effectively communicate with external partners (couriers and 3PLs) to foster strong working relationships and collaborate on innovative, effective solutions for live, high-pressure logistics issues (e.g., vehicle breakdowns, immediate delivery recovery).
- Monitor and Track Delivery Excellence: Continuously monitor all deliveries from dispatch until arrival, providing real-time updates to all involved cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure Process Compliance: Enforce adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) among all internal stakeholders and external carriers to guarantee consistency and quality in the delivery process.
- Provide Direct Customer Support: Proactively communicate with customers via phone to confirm delivery details, update them on statuses, and quickly resolve any delivery-related queries or amendments.
- Support Carrier Management: Assist UK carrier managers by compiling, organizing, and transmitting required reports to external carriers.
- Analyze and Report on Performance: Coordinate the organization and creation of daily and weekly reports to identify trends, highlight outstanding errors, and propose actionable suggestions for continuous process improvement.
What you’ll bring
- Logistics & Supply Chain Foundation: Prior experience in logistics and supply chain management is required, with a preference for (but not requirement of) experience in perishable delivery.
- Reporting and Data Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel/Sheets, Google Docs) is essential, with preferred experience in using SQL and DataGrip for deeper data analysis and reporting.
- High Accountability and Autonomy: The ability to work efficiently with little supervision, effectively managing and tracking multiple processes concurrently to ensure consistent delivery success.
- Adaptability and Multitasking: The capacity to thrive and successfully multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced logistics environment.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills combined with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with both internal and external partners.
- Customer-Facing Confidence: High confidence and comfort in calling customers directly to manage queries, provide updates, and amend delivery details.
