This role involves analyzing data, developing logistics strategies, and overseeing the implementation of transportation, warehousing, and distribution solutions to ensure operational excellence. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert, providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support organizational objectives.   Primary Responsibilities: Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:   • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Develop, implement, and manage logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness. • Oversee end-to-end logistics processes including procurement support, material movement, inventory control, transportation, and distribution. •Manage logistics planning and forecasting to align supply chain capabilities with production schedules and customer demands. • Create and present executive-level reports and dashboards summarizing logistics performance, KPIs, and cost metrics. •Lead initiatives to optimize route planning, warehouse utilization, and shipment consolidation. • Oversee relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, and suppliers to ensure service level and compliance standards are met. • Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, finance, operations, IT, and production) to coordinate logistics planning and execution. • Support system integration projects, data migrations, and automation initiatives. • Evaluate and implement digital tools to improve logistics efficiency (e.g., TMS, WMS, BI analytics platforms).     Required Qualifications   Required Experience:   • 5+ years’ experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.   Desired Qualifications   • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. • Military Experience preferred    About PingWind   PingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
