The Logistics Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the operations team by analyzing and improving logistical processes. He/she is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to manage inventory levels and procurement processes.
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to optimize transportation, distribution, and storage of goods.
  • Evaluate and recommend freight carriers and service providers based on service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare logistics reports and present findings to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies related to logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of logistics information systems.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years minimum professional experience integrating the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition, and information technology environments.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Ability to direct the integrated logistics process, develop support policies and procedures, and provide implementation guidance.
  • Proven experience managing logistics actions associated with lifecycle management of IT assets and related equipment. 
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance.
