The Logistics Transportation Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing current market conditions and economic trends while continuously evaluating the efficiency of surface transportation cost routes. Transportation Data Analytics:

  • Conduct internal and external transportation data analysis and cost research to support carrier negotiations.
  • Simulate scenario-based cost estimations to identify the most optimal transportation solutions.

Carrier Negotiations:

  • Negotiate the cost of transporting raw materials and finished goods.
  • Coordinate transportation activities, ensuring smooth communication and proper completion of necessary paperwork.

RFP Administration:

  • Conduct internal and external RFQ data analysis and cost research for carrier sourcing.
  • Obtain quotes from various suppliers and negotiate price, quantity, terms, and conditions with transportation brokers/carriers.
  • Identify key factors to aid in price negotiations with carriers during the RFP process.

Contract Administration:

  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with all business-related conditions in transportation contracts.
  • Oversee the company’s internal procurement system throughout the sourcing process.

Supplier Evaluation and Comparison:

  • Evaluate suppliers’ quotes and provide detailed assessments of cost element breakdowns.
  • Maintain quote comparisons with financial simulations and offer data-driven recommendations for selecting freight forwarders and carriers

Salary: $30 - $33/hr. (DOE)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar role, with proven expertise and progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and create complex reports.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve logistics operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working with tables, charts, and numbers to present findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Excellent reporting skills are required to present reports to management or clients on bidding plans and results.
  • Bilingual (English/Korean)
