Scope of the Role
The Logistics Intern will join the Logistics function and support the team in both operational and analytical activities related to warehouse and distribution flow management, working closely with logistics providers (3PL), production plants, and internal company functions.
The intern will contribute to monitoring logistics performance, managing operational and IT anomalies, and developing continuous improvement actions, with the goal of ensuring a high level of customer service, accurate stock data alignment, and effective cost control.

Responsibilities
Support to customers and internal functions in managing logistics anomalies (shipments, storage, handling) and IT issues (missing order receipt, interface errors, data mismatches)
Analysis of logistics claims in collaboration with external providers and internal functions (root cause analysis and definition of corrective actions)
Monitoring and analysis of logistics KPIs (service level, anomalies, obsolescence, costs)
Preparation of periodic reports to support the Logistics function and participation in cross‑functional meetings
Operational coordination with Customer Service, Operations, and logistics providers
Management of disposal and reconditioning flows for damaged products
Collaboration in the development of continuous improvement projects in both internal and external warehouses
Control and reconciliation of stock discrepancies between the company ERP system and the 3PL warehouse, analyzing inventory variances and supporting the definition of corrective actions
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Management Engineering, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields).
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Interest in ERP systems and information flows
Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with internal functions and external providers

Location: Gallarate (VA)
Working hours: Full time, 40h/week, from Monday to Friday. You can start your day between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., enjoy a lunch break of 1 to 1.5 hours anytime between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., and wrap up your workday starting from 5:00 pm while completing a full 8-hour workday.
