  • Identify, review, and report misuse cases, ensuring timely notification and submission for approval in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide customers with weekly market analysis reports, offering insights into trends, risks, and opportunities impacting the chassis and logistics landscape.
  • Deliver comprehensive weekly updates on union activities, terminal operations, carrier performance, and developments affecting both international and domestic logistics.
  • Review contract amendments and evaluate spot contracts—including mini-bidding and ODCY agreements—to ensure competitiveness and alignment with operational needs.
  • Engage with carriers to assess performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement initiatives that drive efficiency and service improvements.

 

Pay Rate:

  • Sr. Staff: $32 - $35/hr. (D.O.E)
  • Manager: $37 - $40/hr. (D.O.E)
  • 5~8+ years of Freight Forwarding operation or transportation/ logistics related relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of international transportation (especially ocean shipping) / freight forwarding industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High school GED required
  • Ability to quickly grasp situations to make decisions to ensure problems are resolved and corrected
  • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with vendors/customers, and experience with vendor management
  • Ability to prioritize, ability to shift one’s focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties
  • Proficient with Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications - PowerPoint, Word, especially Excel with v-lookups and pivot tables
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communications skills to communicate with various levels of the organization
  • Experience in supervising team members with effective leadership
  • TMS and WMS system experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 10% in US and international
  • Bilingual (English/Korean)
