Lodge Manager

As a Lodge Manager for Belmond Safaris, you will lead the seamless operation of one of Botswana’s most iconic safari destinations. With a strong background in Food & Beverage and hospitality management, you will inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, memorable dining experiences, and the highest standards of lodge presentation. Primary Responsibilities Include

• Overseeing daily lodge operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and adherence to luxury hospitality standards.
• Leading and motivating a multidisciplinary team to achieve operational excellence.
• Managing Food & Beverage operations and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Overseeing financial performance, procurement, stock control, and general administration.
• Upholding Health & Safety, compliance, and company standards at all times.

About Us

The two luxurious safari lodges set in the unspoilt wilderness of Northern Botswana. This is where the incredible Okavango Delta floods each year, attracting a breathtaking diversity of wildlife. Requirements

What You Bring:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in lodge or hotel management, ideally within a luxury safari environment.
• Strong Food & Beverage and guest service background.
• Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic outlook and foster a culture of care and excellence through training and development of the team and its Heads of Departments (HODs).
• Demonstrated ability in ensuring sound financial management and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage lodge supplies and procurement, maintain accurate stock controls, and oversee daily lodge administrative functions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance, and hospitality best practices.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Willingness to live in a remote location and work flexible hours.
• Valid Botswana Class B Drivers licence.
• A hospitality or business management qualification will be an added advantage.
