Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Specialist Pharmacist – Cancer Services to join the technical services team at a leading Cancer Centre. This is an onsite role ideal for a pharmacist with strong clinical triage skills and experience in systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe and effective cancer treatment services during a critical staffing period.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical triage for SACT prescriptions.
  • Support technical services within the cancer site.
  • Ensure safe and compliant handling of cancer medicines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and regulatory compliance.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a Cancer Centre.
  • BOPA Passport for SACT is essential.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of oncology and chemotherapy protocols.
  • Experience with technical services and cancer pharmacy operations.
