Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join the oncology pharmacy team in Oxford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a leading NHS Trust, providing specialist clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients and supporting safe and effective cancer treatment pathways.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services within oncology.
• Provide expert advice on chemotherapy protocols and cancer medicines.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimise treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to governance standards.
• Contribute to audits, service development, and clinical governance initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Previous NHS experience is essential.
• Extensive clinical experience in oncology pharmacy.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
