Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian to join the dietetics team in Croydon. This locum role offers the opportunity to provide specialist dietetic care to paediatric inpatients and outpatients, supporting children with complex nutritional needs across hospital and community settings. The successful candidate will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality nutritional assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist dietetic care for paediatric inpatients and outpatients.
• Conduct nutritional assessments, develop care plans, and deliver tailored advice.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and community services to ensure continuity of care.
• Support home enteral feeding services and manage complex feeding regimens.
• Contribute to audits, service development, and training for colleagues and students.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc/Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Previous experience in paediatric dietetics (inpatient and outpatient).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
