The Local Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in elevating GoStudent’s visibility through local activations, community engagement, and neighbourhood-level marketing initiatives. This role is field-driven and requires a hands-on, proactive approach to managing events, building partnerships, and generating organic leads.

Additionally, the Local Marketing Manager will support our expansion by scouting and evaluating real estate opportunities for new GoStudent Tuition Centres.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly organised, and deeply connected to the local community landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Local Marketing & Field Activation (≈50%)

 incl. Digital Local Marketing

  • Plan and execute local activities: promo stands, school fairs, sports events, open-door days, flyer distribution.
  • Build relationships with schools, clubs and community partners.
  • Handle event logistics: setup, materials, suppliers, reporting.
  • Represent GoStudent on-site and convert interest into leads.
  • Manage and optimise Google Business Profiles and local Instagram content.
  • Track engagement, visibility and lead performance.

Real Estate Scouting (≈40%)

  • Identify, assess and document potential locations for new Tuition Centres.
  • Conduct on-site visits to evaluate visibility, accessibility and overall suitability.
  • Coordinate with local real estate agents and landlords.
  • Provide clear recommendations to the Expansion team.

Localisation (≈10%)

  • Adapt and localise marketing materials for the Italian market.
  • Support light copywriting for local assets and social content. (i.e. flyers, posters, emails, etc.)

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in local marketing, field activation, community outreach, or trade marketing roles.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Experience working directly with Sales teams or in field-driven environments.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Hands-on experience in managing digital local channels (Instagram, Google Business Profiles).

  • Native-level Spanish and good English proficiency.

  • Comfortable working on-site the majority of the time and travelling across Milan.

  • Strong networking and representation skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, resilience, and strong execution focus.
