CMG Financial is hiring a Loan Processor Assistant to work in collaboration with the Loan Processor to perform necessary tasks to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete processing of loan files.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

 

  • Request initial VOE (Verification of Employment) request through TRUV or directly with employer for Verbal VOEs or Written VOEs
  • Order HOI (Homeowners Insurance)
  • Disposition loans including Withdrawn, Approved but Not Accepted – only
  • Order Tax transcripts and Appraisals
  • Pull FHA and VA case assignments
  • Works with and supports Loan Processor to obtain and review required loan documentation and submits complete loan packages to Underwriting for approval.
  • In collaboration with the Loan Processor, the Junior Loan Processor will assist in managing the pipeline of loans and maintain timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process.
  • Communicate with loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builders and agents.
  • Provides excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers.
  • Assists with the monitoring of closing dates ensuring that company deadlines are met.
  • Works closely with the Loan Processor to obtain and verify that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared by the Underwriter and helps to prepare the file for submission to the Closing Department.
  • Keeps abreast of changes in policies and procedures, standards and regulations applicable to the company and the mortgage industry.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • 2 years in mortgage or financial related field preferred.
  • Experience with BYTE (LOS System) preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced fluid environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

 

COMPENSATION: 

This is a remote contract role that can be performed from within the United States. CMG pays a competitive hourly rate range of $24.00/hour to $26.50/hour. Factors that affect rate may include: Mortgage industry knowledge and experience, Administrative/clerical experience, computer skills, customer service experience, and education.
