Visa-supported or student visa applicants require a minimum of 2.5 months for processing.  ========================================================================= TEAM Woven by Toyota develops, implements, and scales human-centered automated driving solutions for personal and commercial use. Our team is responsible for developing perception technologies and its production software for the AD/ADAS system. To realize a fully reliable and highly functional system, we are tackling complex real-world problems utilizing large scale data, machine learning algorithms, and a variety of perception technologies. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? The ideal candidate is self-motivated to find solutions to complex real-world problems, and makes an impact while contributing to a cross-functional team. You will combine cutting-edge technologies with robust safety standards while also considering cost efficiency. Also, you have patience to tackle the processes required for production development and approach them by asking “What can I do for you?” with a “Giver” mindset. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Improve LLM prompts for resolving coding standard violations (MISRA / CERT, etc.) in automotive software
  • Fine-tune and evaluate LLMs specialized for coding standard violation fixing tasks
  • Improve Coding Agent Tools (AI agents) that automate the resolution of coding standard violations
  • Build evaluation pipelines for LLM outputs, including error pattern analysis and continuous improvement cycles
  • Validate and improve LLM behavior when integrated into real CI pipelines and development workflows
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent knowledge and demonstrated ability)
  • Programming experience in Python
  • Experience designing prompts and building applications using LLMs (e.g., GPT-family, Claude-family models)
  • Basic knowledge of collaborative software development using Git
  • Ability to read, understand, and discuss technical documentation in English
  • NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience with LLM fine-tuning, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and model evaluation
  • Experience designing and implementing AI agents (tool-calling, workflow-based agents, etc.)
  • Experience using LLMs in CI environments (e.g., GitHub Actions)
  • Experience building development or experimentation environments using Docker
  • Knowledge of or strong interest in C/C++, embedded software, static analysis, and coding standards
  • Interest in security, safety-critical systems, or high-reliability software domains
