Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all phases of the litigation process, including case management, legal research, document preparation, and trial preparation. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures and court rules. This position offers 3-4 days of remote work per week.
Resposnibilities:
Assist attorneys with case management from inception through trial and appeal.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly indexed and up to date.
Coordinate and assist with the collection, review, and production of documents in response to discovery requests.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel as needed.
Prepare and organize trial exhibits, evidence, and other materials for hearings and trial proceedings.
Summarize depositions, medical records, and other case-related materials.
Monitor court deadlines and maintain case calendars to ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
Assist attorneys with e-filing court documents at the federal and state levels.
