Due to our continued growth and success across the Caribbean, Dentons is seeking to add a Paralegal to join our talented team of attorneys and other professionals in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department in our Barbados office.

As a member of our Dentons team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our colleagues both regionally and across the globe.
In the role as Paralegal, you will be primarily responsible for:
· Providing administrative support to the attorneys including but not limited to managing attorneys’ calendars, scheduling meetings, hearings and deadlines;
· Drafting, formatting, proofreading and finalizing correspondence and assigned legal documents;
· Preparing bundles, briefs and case files for court, regulatory filings or client matters;
· Liaising with clients, courts, registries, regulators and external parties in a professional manner;
· Maintaining and organizing physical and electronic filing systems in compliance with Firm policies;
· Performing legal research tasks as directed and assisting with due diligence exercises;
· Handling incoming and outgoing mail, emails and telephone calls.
· Assisting with billing reports and matter management systems;
· Providing other general administrative support as the need arises.
Requirements
Previous experience in a law office or legal administrative experience is an asset. The ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, court personnel, opposing counsel and service providers is a must.
