Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a skilled and driven Litigation Attorney to join a dynamic plaintiff-side law practice in Houston, TX. This full-time position is ideal for an attorney with 5–6 years of litigation experience who is ready to independently manage cases while collaborating closely with a team of attorneys and partners. The role provides meaningful courtroom experience, client interaction, and the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-stakes legal matters in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be licensed in Texas and comfortable leading cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload independently, from initial client intake through resolution in Houston courts.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other filings.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys to strategize and execute litigation plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and guidance.
• Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies on behalf of plaintiffs.
• Mentor junior attorneys and assist with case preparation as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 5–6 years of litigation experience, ideally in a plaintiff-side practice.
• Strong academic background and proven courtroom skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex cases from inception to resolution.
• Comfort with handling depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
