About the Role:

We are looking for a forward-thinking Liquidity Intelligence Manager to join our Finance team. This senior role plays a key part in enhancing liquidity visibility, enabling strategic forecasting, and embedding scalable financial control through robust cash reporting and data-driven automation. You’ll take ownership of liquidity reporting and forecasting processes, partner with senior stakeholders across Finance and Treasury, and ensure data integrity across platforms.

The role has a strong dual focus:
- Delivering timely, insightful, and audit-ready cash reporting
- Leading process automation and data integration across core finance systems.
Both aspects are essential to driving Mercuryo’s transition toward insightful liquidity analysis and a controls-based audit approach. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to the Group Financial Controller, and suited for a highly analytical professional who thrives in strategic, data-led environments.

Your Role:

  • Own and deliver group-level liquidity and cash flow forecasts, aligned with business strategy.
  • Develop and refine forecasting models incorporating internal, external, and macroeconomic drivers.
  • Analyse the liquidity impact of commercial initiatives, business cases, and structural changes.
  • Partner with the Group Financial Controller to enhance financial control and support audit transformation.
  • Lead automation of data integration between source systems and finance platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Act as a key finance stakeholder across Treasury, FP&A;, and Product teams.
  • Champion data integrity and quality within Metabase and other core analytics environments.
  • Support audit preparation through controls documentation, testing frameworks, and process mapping.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years in financial forecasting, liquidity reporting, or financial analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VBA for automation and model development.
  • Strong skills in SQL / Metabase (or similar), with experience automating data flows and building insightful reporting tools.
  • Experience integrating data outputs into finance systems and ensuring data governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership and influence strategic outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of financial controls and transitioning to controls-based audits.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Background in fintech or high-growth international businesses.
  • Knowledge of SAS or other analytics tools.
  • Experience working across multi-entity or international cash forecasting environments.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive market rate salary and performance-based incentives.
  • 28 days annual leave with an additional 6 company days, plus bank holidays.
  • Comprehensive health insurance plans.
  • Extensive benefits program.
  • Flexible work schedule and remote work options.
  • Modern offices and co-working spaces across 6 countries.
  • Working equipment.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Opportunity to shape the initiatives you’re working on.
  • Diverse and friendly team.
  • We are open-minded to new ideas.
