We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team. As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems, including servers and cloud network infrastructure.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and associated instances and software systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, software, and network issues
  • Perform system backups and recovery procedures
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the system from unauthorized access.
  • Manage environments and containers using tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Infrastructure Engineering teams and members to ensure the smooth operation of the system.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

What You'll Bring to Us:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relative experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux system administration
  • Proficient in managing Linux-based systems, including CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining security measures for Linux systems
  • Fluent in English - both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience in managing environments and containers using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes- an advantage
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification - an advantage
  • Experience with cloud-based systems, such as AWS or Azure - an advantage
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl - an advantage
