LIifeguard / Pool Assistant | Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel

Castello di Casole, a Belmond property, is seeking a Pool Attendant / Lifeguard for the 2026 season. In this role, you will ensure a safe and welcoming pool environment for our guests while delivering personalized service that reflects LQA standards. Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests courteously and efficiently, anticipating their needs and creating a memorable poolside experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, workstations, and pool furniture at all times.
• Monitor pool safety and hygiene standards, taking proactive measures to ensure a safe environment.
• Work closely with colleagues from other departments to provide seamless service and operational support.
• Follow all Belmond policies, procedures, and service standards to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Italian.
• A valid Lifeguard Certification is preferred.
• Effective communication: ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, both verbally and non-verbally, to positively impact your role, the team, and the guest experience. Uses and interprets non-verbal behaviors to enhance understanding.
• Emotional intelligence: able to manage and express your emotions while handling interpersonal relationships professionally.
