Licensed Prosthetist / Orthotist (CPO) - Patient-Centered Care

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Prosthetist / Orthotist (CPO) to join our dynamic clinical team in Edison, NJ. This full-time role emphasizes delivering personalized prosthetic and orthotic solutions that improve patient mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. As a Prosthetist / Orthotist in Edison, NJ, you will manage the complete patient care journey—from evaluation and device design to fitting, education, and ongoing follow-up. You will partner with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to develop tailored prosthetic and orthotic care plans
• Oversee design, fabrication, fitting, and adjustment of custom prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices to optimize function, alignment, and comfort
• Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and the clinical team in Edison, NJ to coordinate care
• Provide patient and caregiver education on device use, maintenance, wear schedules, and skin care protocols
• Monitor outcomes and perform adjustments, repairs, and follow-up care as patient needs evolve
• Maintain precise and compliant electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Ensure adherence to clinical best practices, healthcare regulations, and quality standards

Requirements

• Current New Jersey licensure as a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist
• Board Certification through ABC (American Board for Certification) or BOC (Board of Certification)
• Clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics preferred; residency graduates encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain clinical concepts to patients and families
• Strong commitment to ethical, patient-centered, evidence-based clinical care
• Ability to manage a varied patient caseload efficiently and professionally
