Level Designer

We’re looking for a Level Designer to join our New Games team and help build smart, engaging puzzle experiences from the ground up. This role is very hands-on and best suited for someone who loves puzzles, understands difficulty curves, and enjoys owning both the content and the tools behind it.

Experience with hybrid-casual puzzle games is essential for this role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and implementing new levels using a level editor
  • Owning and shaping the difficulty curve across levels and progression
  • Actively working with game programmers on how the level editor should function
  • Taking ownership of the level editor tool from a design perspective
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Owner and Game Designer
  • Designing lots of puzzles!
  • Working across multiple new projects at the same time, from early concepts to testing

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Level Designer on puzzle games
  • Strong understanding of sorting puzzle mechanics and how to design levels around them
  • Solid grasp of difficulty balancing and player progression
  • Experience working with level editors (Unity is a plus)
  • High level of independence and autonomy
  • Comfort and willingness for owning decisions and pushing ideas forward
  • Good English communication skills for day-to-day collaboration

Why this role is interesting

  • A lot of autonomy and creative freedom
  • Real involvement in shaping ideas — we’re not looking for “just hands,” we want brains
  • A chance to help launch brand-new projects and influence them from day one
