About the Team
At Trendyol Legal, we go beyond compliance—shaping business decisions with legal insight and strategic perspective.
As trusted advisors, we support teams across the company on matters ranging from contracts and corporate law to labor, competition, transportation, and regulatory frameworks.
By embedding legal thinking into every stage of business design, we safeguard the company’s integrity while enabling agile, sustainable growth.
As a Legal Working Student, you'll be a key part of our Privacy and Data Governance team, helping us ensure compliance with data protection laws like GDPR. This is a hands-on role where you'll support the implementation of privacy requirements, conduct research, and collaborate with various teams to embed a privacy-by-design approach into our systems and processes.
Responsibilities
Translate Legal Governance and privacy requirements into structured, automated workflows.
Maintain data inventories and data flow maps using system integrations instead of manual tracking.
Support legal tech tools (consent management, data subject requests) and connect them to internal systems via APIs and automation (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Make).
Research regulatory updates and share insights through automated internal channels (Slack, Notion, etc.).
Work with IT, Legal, and business teams to embed privacy-by-design into digital processes.
Support audit-ready documentation and reporting through automated evidence collection.
Expected Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, based in Berlin, with at least 6 months of study remaining from the internship start date.
Strong interest in data management and governance with technical affinity.
Analytical, structured, and comfortable working with processes, data flows, and tools (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Make).
Good English communication skills; motivated to learn in a cross-functional environment.
