The Legal Recruiting Coordinator candidate will coordinate and lead all attorney recruiting responsibilities include planning and coordinating of the fall on-campus recruiting program, the summer associate program and lateral attorney recruiting.
Specific responsibilities include:
- recruiting budget, statistical analysis;
- registering for on-campus interviews; scheduling interviews;
- planning and attending social events; developing and maintaining contacts among professional recruiters and career services professionals;
- training programs and correspondence related to such activities.
- The candidate will work closely with the Director of Administration with general human resources responsibilities which will include maintaining personnel files, coordinating benefits and wellbeing initiatives; prepare appropriate forms for new hires, background checks, conflicts check, leaves of absence, return from leaves, title changes, comp changes and coordinate with firmwide HR; and other duties associated with general human resources. Staff recruiting duties include working with the Director of Administration to develop and implement recruiting strategies; assist with the preparation of job descriptions, screening resumes and applicants; coordination of scheduling interviews; handling related candidate correspondence; and applicant tracking.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in human resources and attorney recruiting.
- knowledge of NALP recruiting practices and standards.
- Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and preferably have knowledge of Workday, Lawcruit, and FloRecruit.
- This position requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of firm and personnel information; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to work on several projects concurrently and meet deadlines; and work well independently and on a team. Good judgment, the ability to consistently display a professional, polished and enthusiastic demeanor; and the ability to work with and communicate (both verbally and in writing) effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels are skills essential to this position. Must be available to work overtime, including weekend and evening hours, during peak recruiting seasons.

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
