The Role:
We’re looking for Legal Operations & AI Enablement Lead. This role plays a key part in enabling the Practice Operations function to deliver best-in-class Legal Operations. You will help translate strategy into action by operationalising Legal Operations initiatives through smart use of AI, data-driven insights, and disciplined project delivery, working closely with senior leadership.
You’ll take clear strategic direction and turn it into tangible results — leading Legal Operations projects end-to-end, delivering reporting and metrics aligned to client needs, embedding AI into day-to-day workflows, maintaining AI-ready documentation, and producing high-quality legal delivery insights that add real value for clients.
This is a hands-on practitioner role for someone who thrives on execution. Success in this role comes from delivery excellence, attention to detail, and a mindset of continuous improvement, with the opportunity to make a visible impact on how legal services are delivered.
Responsibilities
1. Legal Operations Project & Programme Delivery
Own the day-to-day delivery of Legal Operations projects under agreed direction
Plan, manage, and deliver projects end-to-end, including milestones, risks, and dependencies
Support complex, multi-stream programmes by coordinating Legal Ops workstreams and tracking delivery
Act as a reliable delivery lead within wider legal or operational change initiatives
Ensure Legal Ops processes are implemented consistently across engagements
2. AI Enablement & Automation
Ensure contracts, templates, playbooks, SOPs, and guidance are structured for AI ingestion
Maintain standards for AI adoption, and support delivery teams in AI enabling them to deliver services efficiently.
Design, develop and Implement workflows where AI is the first pass, supported by human validation
Become a power user for Factor Reporting and AI tools to:
- Generate playbooks from templates
- Extract obligations, risks, contract summaries and delivery data etc
- Review, redline and prepare contract output / mark up packs
- Extract manipulate delivery captured data and metrics on Engagement and Delivery performance – and showcase metrics in a clear and easily accessible and auditable manner – and then enable the production of real business insights from the data captured.

3. Legal Delivery Data, Metrics & Reporting
Define, track, and maintain Legal Operations and legal delivery metrics
Capture performance data across matters, contracts, turnaround time, quality, and risk
Build and maintain reporting using PowerBI, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft tools
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
4.Process Design & Tooling
Build and improve workflows using tools including (but not limited to) PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
Support the Automation agenda, e.g. matter intake, reporting, playbook updates, and all other facets of legal delivery
Reduce manual handling and operational friction across Legal Ops processes

In addition to the above, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role:
Law Degree and/or Legally Qualified
Legally eligible to work in the country this role is based
Legal Operations and legal delivery experience
Proven experience running Legal Ops or legal transformation projects
Strong project management and delivery discipline
Experience with legal delivery metrics, reporting, and analytics
Hands-on experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerBI at a minimum.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle and legal delivery models
Practical experience working with AI-enabled tools
Desirable
Experience supporting complex programmes or transformations
Experience structuring legal documentation for automation or AI
Legal qualification or deep legal domain experience
Experience in ALSP or scaled delivery environments
