Legal Department Intern

The Legal Intern will support the Legal department at our State College headquarters.

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven Legal Intern that has a strong desire to gain experience in a corporate environment. The position will have varied responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day activities of the Legal Department including corporate business operations and legal administration tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Review contracts and legal documents to locate and record specific data and information

· Transfer and update data and information from documents and contracts into various internal system(s)

· Perform a wide variety of clerical, technical, and administrative office support duties to assist the Legal Department

· Prepare summaries, reporting metrics, and build informational reports on contracts and other agreements

· Assist with the development of internal education programs on relevant legal issues for company business units

· Research and assist with matters relating to corporate compliance and business operations

· Assist with special projects as assigned

 

Educations and Essential Skills

· Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills

· Ability to multi-task, work effectively to meet deadlines, and be flexible

· Ability to work with limited supervision

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

· Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, co-workers, and external parties

· Strong oral and written communications across all levels of management, co-workers, and external parties

· Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language

 

This position is available beginning in January 2026. All candidates must have the ability to work approximately 15- 29 hours/week on site at the State College, PA headquarters (remote work is not an option). The working hours and days can be flexible.
