We are looking for a Legal Counsel in our new Berlin office to join our Global Legal team and help us grow even faster.

What you’ll do

• Navigate a broad spectrum of legal work, covering complex commercial contracts, corporate law, client T&Cs, regulatory/product matters and more

• Tackle complex commercial and legal challenges across international jurisdictions in the fast-paced world of global financial investment services

• Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice that focuses on enabling the business rather than just highlighting blockers

• Take ownership of diverse legal projects across the group

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative features to market and support the operational side of a high-growth fintech

What you need to have

• Strong academic credentials: You are either a fully qualified lawyer in Germany (Volljurist) or have successfully completed a comparable legal education in another jurisdiction

• A genuine passion for the law and, crucially, its practical application in the context of a modern financial services business

• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house role, with a solid grounding in general commercial, corporate and/or regulatory law (Fintech experience is great, but a strong generalist mindset is key)

• A commercial mindset: you have the ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory rules and find viable paths forward to help the business meet its objectives

• Be a self-starter with a strong drive to deliver complete end results with unwavering attention to detail

• Hands-on, curious approach to stay ahead of the ever-changing legal landscape

• You believe in our mission: You are genuinely excited about the world of fintech and democratizing finance. You aren't just looking for a legal role – you are motivated by the challenge of building a leading global trading platform and helping millions of people build wealth every day

• Fully proficient in both English and German

• Familiarity or past experience within the tech or financial services landscape
