We are currently looking for an experienced 1-3 PQE lawyer to join the Flexibility Assets Division legal team in Budapest. Leveraging on your experience in corporate and commercial law matters, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the legal director of MET Group’s Flexibility Assets Division in the legal management of the companies of the Division
  • Contributing to the development and management of internal corporate affairs and corporate governance procedures (reviewing proposal, running board meetings, preparing minutes and monitoring execution of board decisions)
  • Preparing legal and corporate documents for the meetings of the board of directors of the corporate entities of the Division
  • Supporting internal corporate housekeeping and document management practices (e.g. contract lifecycle management)
  • Manage the corporate legal affairs of the Division's companies
  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, offers
  • Supporting the legal integration of newly acquired assets and companies into the Division’s operations
  • Managing a variety of legal and regulatory matters in connection with the operating assets of the Division
  • Communication with and management of the work of local and external legal advisors
  • Legal degree from an established European University
  • Approximately 1-3 years post qualification (bar exam) experience, preferably at least partially in-house
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hungarian. Other languages such as German, French or Spanish are a plus
  • Solid experience in corporate law and contract drafting
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • Sound business judgment and ability to quickly analyze complex legal matters
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working, „can do” attitude
