Our legal team is at the heart of our mission - ensuring the integrity, compliance, and contractual precision that enable us to build the future of AI-powered enterprise software. We’re seeking a talented, proactive, and highly qualified Legal Consultant to help guide us through a complex legal landscape shaped by global regulations, emerging technologies, and high-stakes enterprise partnerships.
This is a critical role for an experienced legal professional ready to lead legal strategy in a fast-paced, high-growth AI company.
What you would do on a daily basis
- Provide expert legal advice across diverse fields including software development, licensing, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and AI legislation.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, such as:
- Software licensing (on-prem, SaaS, hybrid)
- Strategic partnerships and commercial contracts
- AI product terms, disclaimers, and data processing agreements (DPAs)
- Stay at the forefront of evolving regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, DORA) and ensure compliance across jurisdictions and industries.
- Lead contract structuring and negotiation with enterprise clients, public authorities, and external counsel.
- Advise internal teams - including product, compliance, and executive leadership - on legal risks and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal counterparts and regulators across borders.
- Contribute to FlowX.AI’s legal operations by implementing best-in-class legal processes and documentation standards.
- Take full ownership of your workboard: follow through, close loops, and maintain discipline in execution.
Who you are
- Licensed attorney or in-house legal counsel with 3–6 years of experience, ideally at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a tech company.
- Proven ability to understand and respond to the unique legal challenges of software development and cloud-based enterprise solutions.
- In-depth knowledge (or strong motivation to master) regulatory frameworks including: GDPR, EU AI Act, DORA, and US AI/tech regulations.
- Emerging global AI governance principles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software licensing models and related contract structures.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Enthusiasm for direct client interaction and legal strategy collaboration.
