Location: North Vancouver, BC - This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office, and is open to hybrid remote work
Work Arrangement: Flexible, between in-office and home
Pay Range: $44,700 - 55,100 per annum; will be determined based on year of study and related experience
Duration: Four (4) months, May 2026 – August 2026
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, M-F
Your Co-Op Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
Arc’teryx is seeking a motivated and dynamic Legal Co-op Student to join our legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and enjoyable work environment. The Legal Co-op Student will be involved in various projects spanning all facets of Arc’teryx’s business, contributing to legal research, contract review, and the development of templates and playbooks. You will work closely with the legal team to support strategic initiatives and gain exposure to the breadth of legal work at a leading outdoor apparel company.

If you were a Legal Co-op Student now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Collaborating with the legal team on a variety of projects related to Arc’teryx’s business operations, including conducting in-depth legal research on a wide range of issues and providing concise, well-organized summaries to support decision-making.
Reviewing third-party contracts to identify and analyze specific clauses relevant to Arc’teryx’s business interests and working closely with the legal team to ensure contract compliance and mitigate potential risks.
Assisting in the creation and maintenance of legal templates and playbooks to streamline processes and ensure consistency. Staying current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the outdoor apparel sector.
Leveraging AI tools and technology to enhance legal research and workflow efficiency.

You are pursuing a law degree (preferably in first or second year) at a Canadian university.
You possess a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in legal research, document review, and contract analysis.
You can articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner, both in writing and verbally.
You have strong organizational skills, allowing you to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
You are proficient in conducting legal research using various platforms and resources.
You are tech-savvy with a strong interest in leveraging technology, including AI tools, to enhance legal work.
You thrive in a collaborative work environment, fostering positive relationships and actively contributing to team objectives. You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
