Make a difference in employee well-being! CMI Media Group seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Leave of Absence Administrator to manage our comprehensive leave programs. This vital role supports employees across two operating companies, ensuring smooth and compliant leave processes.
 
What You'll Do:
  • Be the primary point of contact for employees and leave administrators regarding STD/FMLA and other leaves.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all leave-related forms.
  • Verify employee eligibility for leave programs.
  • Stay up-to-date on, interpret, and communicate regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Research and respond to employee inquiries regarding leave eligibility and status.
  • Maintain accurate leave data in the HRIS system and generate reports.
  • Manage, process, and report payroll calculations for disability and FMLA leaves.
  • Provide support for other benefit-related administrative tasks.
  • Maintain employee benefit records.
  • Lead employee meetings and presentations on leave programs.
  • Audit and process health and welfare vendor invoices.
What You'll Bring:
  • 3-5 years of benefits administration or TPA experience with leave programs.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA and FMLA regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with payroll, administrators, vendors, and business units.
  • Customer service orientation and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with Workday is a plus.

Additional Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, as needed.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other company locations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
