You’ll support several communities in Lockport, with Maplewood East Apartments as your primary base, working closely with a Property Manager who invests in your growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents
  • Lease market-rate apartments according to Fair Housing standards
  • Respond promptly to all new inquiries, converting leads to applicants
  • Manage calendar, schedule tours, and conduct showings
  • Process rental applications quickly and accurately
  • Establish rapport with tenants and provide personalized service during the move-in process
  • Verify all move-ins are fully completed, inspected, and documented
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance to maintain high occupancy
  • Monitor listing postings and advertisements
  • Assist property manager with tenant care and retention
  • Other projects as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Compensation:

  • On-target earnings of $46,000–$71,000 annually, combining an $18/hour base with significant performance-driven commissions.

Successful Candidate Profile

Knowledge & Experience

  • 1+ year of leasing experience preferred; relevant sales, customer service, or hospitality experience will also be considered
  • General knowledge of multifamily leasing principles, including Fair Housing (preferred)
  • Experience with property management and leasing software (preferred)
  • High school diploma
