Your Role as Head Veterinarian:

As Head Vet, you’ll lead a close-knit team of two experienced veterinarians, supported by skilled veterinary nurses and a friendly receptionist. You will:

• Drive clinical standards and best practice

• Mentor and support junior team members

• Work closely with our vet manager to foster a culture of excellence, learning, and wellbeing

A structured Monday–Friday roster, with only one Saturday per month, ensures a healthy work–life balance while giving you time to focus on both leadership and clinical care.

About You:

We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated leader who:

• Holds a BVSc or equivalent and is registered (or eligible) to practice in South Australia

• Has 5+ years of clinical experience, with demonstrated or emerging leadership capabilities

• Inspires and guides teams to deliver exceptional patient care

• Values continuous professional development

• Communicates effectively and builds strong client relationships

• Is open to part-time or full-time arrangements
