Role Overview
Our Gurgaon, India office is looking for a Lead – Service Sales to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving service business growth through the development and implementation of strategic service sales plans. This role requires a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new service business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth in the service sector of the company. It involves identifying potential clients, developing relationships, and promoting service offerings to meet customer needs, work with existing clients on continued service relationship. The specialist will collaborate closely with the sales team, service delivery teams, and management to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's footprint in the service market.
Identify and Prospect New Business Opportunities:
• Research and identify potential clients in target markets.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Develop and Maintain Client Relationships:
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Understand client needs and pain points to tailor service offerings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
Promote Service Offerings:
• Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase service capabilities.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns targeting service clients.
Negotiate and Close Sales:
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts.
• Manage the sales process from lead qualification to closing deals.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives.
Collaborate with Internal Teams:
• Liaise with service delivery teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery.
• Work closely with product development teams to incorporate client feedback and enhance service offerings.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to management.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
• Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve knowledge and skills through training and professional development.
Requirements
Candidates must have experience and worked their way up from entry-level in-Service Management, Service Delivery and Sales - at least 5+ years of Service Management and Sales experience or relevant experience in specific industries or domains.
• A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumental, Mechanical, or Electromechanical field or bachelor’s degree in business
administration, marketing. Master's degree is a plus.
• Previous experience in the service industry or related fields is highly desirable.
• Industry-specific certifications or training programs are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of success in service business development and sales.
• Strong understanding of service industry dynamics and trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
