What You’ll Do Here:
- Work with the Quality Manager to develop tools for verifying product quality/adherence to standards and conduct awareness sessions with employees
- Follow-up on corrective action requests and assist in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborates with the Quality Manager on weekly reporting of Quality Metrics
- Schedule Layered Process Audits based on customer feedback and internal performance
- Perform inspections of various products per internal standards.
- Conduct internal audits of work in process and finished product to verify manufacturing compliance to defined product standards
- Collaborates with team and cross-functional partners to conceive, drive, and execute projects
- Makes decisions based on a full understanding of function, understanding of business needs, and personal experience. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously and drives successful completion; identifies business needs and proposes potential solutions.
The Skills You’ll Bring:
- Minimum two year degree or equivalent experience
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills
- Communicate efficiently with operators and production management
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to multitask and set priorities
- Strong computer skills with MS Office and proprietary software
- Proficient MS Excel skills
- Basic data analysis (beyond just data reporting)
- Working knowledge of quality planning tools
- Flexibility to work alternative shifts as needed – especially during different production “seasons”
- Capable of solving problems of moderate complexity
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes / controls to improve KPI's & metrics
It is helpful, but not required to have
- ASQ - CQIA Certification desired
- SS Greenbelt certification desired
- Previous lead experience is a plus!
