Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing, venture-backed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, we are currently looking for a self-driven QA Lead, to join its software development team.

A day in the life of a QA Lead

You will be working closely with talented teams of engineers to contribute in strengthening the software quality of company’s product. You will be part of Agile teams, driving the design, implementation and maintenance of tests that check the end-to-end functionality and quality per product increment.

Your day-to-day

• Creating and executing automated, well-structured test cases for new features and regression testing
• Creating and maintaining the web app’s E2E tests suite, using industry best practices and tools
• Identifying defects in company’s system and ensuring that the test requirements you set are being met
• Providing meaningful feedback regarding the app status
• Participating in scrum ceremonies

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience as QA Engineer in a technological environment
• Being comfortable with working on software testing technologies
• Ability to develop medium/advanced test scripts, search in logs, execute advanced SQL for data setup or data search
• Competency in Quality Assurance concepts: test planning, test case design, test case prioritization, test case execution, bug reporting & tracking
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills combined with self-motivation
• Considerable experience with HTML, Javascript and an end-to-end testing framework is required, while knowledge of Python and Django will be considered a strong plus
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
• Excellent leadership skills and strong ability to motivate and develop others
• Excellent command of English and Greek language, verbal and written
