Lead Python Software Engineer, Commercial Systems

In this role, you will lead the development of Python-based solutions powering core commercial and operational systems, shaping integrations and data flows essential to the organization’s decision-making. Accountabilities

• Develop robust engineering solutions using Python to support integrations, automations, and data workflows.
• Collaborate with peers on system design, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices.
• Deploy, operate, and maintain services owned by the team to ensure reliability and performance.
• Coach and mentor team members depending on seniority level, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Champion strong engineering practices and contribute to the evolution of organizational standards.
• Support the automation of SaaS seat management and the onboarding of new data sources into the organization’s data mesh.

Requirements

• Exceptional academic track record throughout high school and university.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical field, or a strong alternative path supported by compelling achievements.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality software in Python.
• Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Proven ability to exceed expectations and deliver outstanding results.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
• Ability to travel internationally twice per year for company-wide events.
• Nice-to-have: experience with performance engineering, security, or tools such as Airbyte, Ranger, Temporal, or Trino.
