The Role

The Program Management and Operations team mission: We empower SimplePractice teams to deliver world class clinician, client and payor experiences by driving effective and efficient execution while simultaneously cultivating an environment of high performance, collaboration and creativity.

Our Lead Program Managers are independent, creative, and ambitious. They love solving problems which involve a diverse set of teams. Our Lead Program Managers know how to motivate team members to drive cross-organizational initiatives forward, delving into details as necessary and delegating responsibly.  They have a proven track record of thought leadership with a bias towards continuous improvement.    

We are looking for the right person to lead programs, provide analytic, planning and operations creation and oversight; all while providing the best end to end and most inclusive experience for our clients, customers and payors. Responsibilities

  • Drive planning and execution of multiple technical programs while working with teams across SimplePractice
  • Act as a connector to build strong working relationships and foster an environment of trust and partnership across teams toward a common goal
  • Independently propose and inspire changes in technology, infrastructure, operations or direction based on a strong understanding of technologies, benefits and trade-offs and data
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with all levels within SimplePractice to ensure visibility of progress, risks and risk mitigation, and garner support for changes in scope, schedule, budget or processes
  • Identify and anticipate risks and mitigate appropriately, taking calculated risks as appropriate which are measured and monitored to grow and benefit the organization
  • Partner with multiple teams to move programs forward and remove barriers, understanding when to empower and when to become deeply involved
  • Scope, define, implement and maintain a planning and operational processes for the team to effectively execute and deliver work on time, continually iterating, finding new ways to improve so we achieve optimal results.
  • Develop and implement systems, frameworks, and operating mechanisms to optimize our organization's performance and efficiency

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to drive and own multiple tasks and large cross functional programs simultaneously 
  • Curious, open to new challenges, innovative, creative, self-directed and a collaborative teammate who thrives on continuous process improvement 
  • Able to understand and effectively manage both the fine details and the bigger picture of tasks and programs to keep progress on track
  • Deep knowledge of PDLC & SDLC processes, including driving discussions to scope effort and schedule, identifying and mitigating risks, supervising dependencies and milestones, and appropriately communicating overall program status
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience using data analysis tools and techniques 
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate dynamic program scopes 
  • Passion for working across teams to drive high level solutions and resolve issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain working relationships with a wide variety of roles, personalities and levels 
  • 10+ years of Program Management experience in a professional technology organization required
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred

Base Compensation Range

$190,000 - $230,000

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
