One of our companies is currently looking for a Lead Product Manager - Brokerage in Anywhere.

In this role, you will own and drive the strategy and execution for the brokerage products at Alpaca. As a Lead Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, and partnerships to define and launch new features while managing a portfolio of existing products. You will analyze market competition, assess ROI, and contribute to the product roadmap, ensuring product efficiency and operational improvements. You will also have a significant role in engaging with customers and regulators to align product strategy with market needs.

Accountabilities:

• Own the development and execution of brokerage products, writing product requirements and collaborating with engineers to bring ideas to life.
• Lead the strategy for brokerage product features, considering ROI, market dynamics, and the balance between building in-house versus purchasing third-party solutions.
• Improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Participate in customer calls to gather insights, identify product challenges, and translate those insights into actionable product features.
• Represent the product in discussions with regulators and other external stakeholders to ensure alignment with legal and industry standards.
• Provide accurate and timely product status reports to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or starting a startup, with a strong focus on fintech and brokerage products.
• Proficiency in analyzing data using SQL and relevant BI tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to balance business needs and technological feasibility within budget and time constraints.
• A demonstrated passion for fintech, brokerage, and financial services.
